It's hard to believe Halloween is two short days away. I can't wait. I don't know who's more excited the kids or me. Here is a simple Halloween card. It use's the Top Note die by Stampin up, I just love that thing. On the inside I made the spiral pop up with the 1 3/4 punch and cut it and then added the cute little bats.

Halloween fortune teller

Hi guys, sorry it took so long for me to post. We have had strep throat and pink eye at our house and of course it had to spread to everyone, except DD. Well were all better now. This is a cute idea that I learned from Kira Loy at NEMC and just had to try it. Wouldn't this make a great center piece for your table. It's folded like those fortune tellers you did as a kid. Hope you like it.

I'm Back.

Sorry for the lack in posts. I'm trying to get adjusted to working full time after 3 years of staying home with the kids and watching my niece. It has been an adjustment for us all. My son still does not like doing to daycare, but I hope it will get better with time. So enough about me.
This is a mini chip board album I made for my DH last year for father's day. I really like this stamp for Ruff Day, SU. I used crystal effects and black reinker on his nose to make it look wet.Hope you like it. I do hope to post a couple times a week, but I will have to see how it fits into my family life. Hope to post soon,

Punch Storage

Today I thought I would share some of my punch storage. The shelf is an old window that my DH added a shelf to and it works great to hold my punches. Then below it is a bar we got from Home Depot in with the kitchen stuff. It works great for me and gets them up off my work area, and I need all the space I can get. We are currently in the process of redoing my scrap book area and can't wait for it to be done. I will share pictures when its done, but it will be a while. All of our home improvement projects are very slow, but oh well they get done eventually. Have a great day,

Taylors Cupcake Challenge #18

Well today is a beautiful day with temps in the 80's yeah. We are going to Kearney to participate in the Kearney Kidney Walk at Yaney Park. It's a 3 mile walk and the whole family is going. Should be lots of fun. Well on the the card.
A cupcake challenge without cupcakes? Sorry no cupcakes this time, but what a great sketch. I thought it would look great with of course a bella. This is dogwalkabella. She is so cute with her pretty outfit. For her outfit I paper pieced different patterned pattern and look, her purse matches her shirt which also matches her head band. I found the circle tab in my stash and thought it went great. This was a fun card to make. Hope you like it,

A bella card and {a new car}

Don't you just love the smell of a new car? Well I sure do even if it's not brand new, its still new to me. I got a new, used car today. It was totally unexpected, you know when you just go to look, were not going to buy anything and then something happens and you get to bring it home. I just love it when that happens. I can't believe I totally forgot to take a picture, maybe tomorrow. Ok, ok, on to the card. As soon as I saw bikababeabella, I had to have her and look how cute she is on her bike. Have a great weekend,

Teachers gifts

Yesterday was the last day of Sunday School for my daughter, until the fall. I wanted to make something for the teachers that helped teach, to show how much we appreciate it. So here is what I came up with.
The paper is BasicGrey Blush collection. I used SU's Love and Happiness rub-on's on the front of the tin, all though you can't see it in the picture. For the tag I downloaded the saying from Creating Keepsakes. I added some ribbon, making memories flowers and buttons and a dew drop. Hope you like it.

Happy May Day, a little late. We made our may baskets and delivered them to family and friends and my daughter loved it. She finally understands to ring the doorbell and run away and we peeked from around the corner to make sure they got it. It's makes for nice memories. But no pictures, I forgot to take the camera, what was I thinking.
Well tomorrow is my sister's 10th wedding anniversary, so here it the card I made for them. Hope they like it.
It's a side pocket card. I used real red cardstock for the base and soft sky designer paper both from SU. I used a Heidi Swap ghost heart and red thickers from American Crafts for the numbers. I stamped the word happy and together in real red ink for Happy everything and yrs are rub-ons from making memories. I used Stamp of Authenticity for the tab and stamped Happy Anniversary from Hugs and Wishes and from all of us is from Family Phrases.

I just love this set from SU, all in the family, how cute. I used Purely Pomegranate, another fav. and stamped the background, Stitched. I paper pieced there outfits to match the cardstock and then used family phases. Thanks for looking.

My attempt at shabby chic

It's another cold day here in Nebraska, only in the 30's this morning. Fells more like winter than spring. I can't wait for more spring weather. This is my first attempt at a shabby chic card. I love the look of shabby chic, but don't know if I captured it or not, what do you think?
This is a pocket card. I used 7 gypsies post card for the insert. I stamped love with Stampin up's headline alph. on Jeni Bowlin's lined paper and placed a Heidi Swap ghost flower over it. I also used a clock for Heidi Swap and Making Memories flowers and buttons and over course some ribbon. Hope you like it

A scrap book page

Well today started out kinda rough. We went solo to church today and with a 2 1/2 yr. old, it made for a stressful start to the day. But I'm happy to report that it went well. So on to the page. I love how this page turned out. I found Jenni Bowlin's line at my LSS and fell in love. Don't you just love these bingo cards. I also used 7 Gypsies gaffer tape, another favorite. I used my cricut for the words and my stampin up star punch. We'll I'm off to teach a mommie and me class. Hope to post the project later. Have a good weekend.

Beate's weekend challenge #45

Beate posted a weekend challenge, see Beates wsc #45 at fresh and fun. I needed a manly birthday card with 2 coming up next week. I love the color orange, so I used SU's Spring Break and SU's old olive. I used Hambly Screen Prints behind the chipboard letters. A few buttons, faux stitching and I couldn't resist just a little bling with the dew drops. 1 down 1 B-day card to go.
Shara

My first post with a card

I just love U R A Hoot from Cornish Heritage Farms, the Kim Hughes collection. I've seen so many cute cards made with the owl and just knew I had to have it. I made the owl a girl and put a pink ribbon on her head and of course glitter on her eyes, so she can bat those big eyes at her fella. I paired her up with the Sweet Thang stamp also from CHF, the Kim Hughes collection. Kind of reminds me of the Tootise Roll commercial, how many licks until you get to the chewy center. Anyway, hope you like it.
