It's been a busy day today, but beautiful weather, in the upper 70's, finally. So we had to make a trip to the park. Cooler weather is in the forecast for tomorrow. On to the card. I just love this set from SU, all in the family, how cute. I used Purely Pomegranate, another fav. and stamped the background, Stitched. I then used the neighborhood wheel and colored in with blender pen and various inks. I wouldn't be complete without a few cute kids to top it off. I paper pieced there outfits to match the cardstock and then used family phases. Thanks for looking.

My attempt at shabby chic

It's another cold day here in Nebraska, only in the 30's this morning. Fells more like winter than spring. I can't wait for more spring weather. This is my first attempt at a shabby chic card. I love the look of shabby chic, but don't know if I captured it or not, what do you think?
This is a pocket card. I used 7 gypsies post card for the insert. I stamped love with Stampin up's headline alph. on Jeni Bowlin's lined paper and placed a Heidi Swap ghost flower over it. I also used a clock for Heidi Swap and Making Memories flowers and buttons and over course some ribbon. Hope you like it

A scrap book page

Well today started out kinda rough. We went solo to church today and with a 2 1/2 yr. old, it made for a stressful start to the day. But I'm happy to report that it went well. So on to the page. I love how this page turned out. I found Jenni Bowlin's line at my LSS and fell in love. Don't you just love these bingo cards. I also used 7 Gypsies gaffer tape, another favorite. I used my cricut for the words and my stampin up star punch. We'll I'm off to teach a mommie and me class. Hope to post the project later. Have a good weekend.

Beate's weekend challenge #45

Beate posted a weekend challenge, see Beates wsc #45 at fresh and fun. I needed a manly birthday card with 2 coming up next week. I love the color orange, so I used SU's Spring Break and SU's old olive. I used Hambly Screen Prints behind the chipboard letters. A few buttons, faux stitching and I couldn't resist just a little bling with the dew drops. 1 down 1 B-day card to go.

My first post with a card

I just love U R A Hoot from Cornish Heritage Farms, the Kim Hughes collection. I've seen so many cute cards made with the owl and just knew I had to have it. I made the owl a girl and put a pink ribbon on her head and of course glitter on her eyes, so she can bat those big eyes at her fella. I paired her up with the Sweet Thang stamp also from CHF, the Kim Hughes collection. Kind of reminds me of the Tootise Roll commercial, how many licks until you get to the chewy center. Anyway, hope you like it.
